Maintaining a safe working environment is Kasturi's number one priority. To help make sure all of our projects are operating under the proper safety standards. We have a safety co-ordinator on staff. As a part of our commitment to ensuring a safe job-site our safety co-ordinator along with all of our Project Managers, Superintendents and foreman are trained in CPR, first aid, proper fire extinguisher use, confined space entry and lead abatement. They have also to attend Continual development and training seminars. Before starting a large - scale project a complete hazard analysis of work features is performed and accident prevention plans are prepared as per HSSE guidelines. Site meetings are held to convey safety information and staff members are encouraged to suggest ways to improve safety in the workplace. As a part of our commitment to safety, Kasturi constantly upgrades its programs to ensure that each job site is operating under the most current safety standard.
Quality Assurance & Quality Systems are accorded a high priority. Design-in-change gathers all information for preparation of drawings from architects / consultants / clients / approved manufactures / vendors and tender specifications to prepare a detailed shop drawing for submission to consultants / clients for approval. All materials procured on site are verified and tested for acceptance as per preagreed standards, specifications, manufacturers recommendation and engineering data. External independent test Laboratory reports are studied for the raw material tests. After completion of works and prior to loading / commissioning the entire installed works are checked in accordance with the performance test plan, pull-out test for concrete, Hydraulic tests of piping, are carried out at every stage of installation and commissioning. Preventive maintenance and post installation / Commissioning methods are discussed and approved together with consultants and clients.
